Why Some Contacts Are Automatically Filtered in InboxApp (formerly TweetDM)

Written by Kevin

When you upload potential leads to InboxApp, the system automatically evaluates each entry to ensure that your outreach is both effective and compliant with platform rules. This helps maintain high delivery rates while protecting your campaigns from targeting contacts who cannot be reached. Entries that do not meet the required criteria are flagged and removed from your final contact list.

Contacts Automatically Filtered Out

To keep your campaigns efficient and compliant with privacy and messaging policies, InboxApp excludes any contacts that cannot receive messages. These include:

  • Inactive accounts

Accounts that have been deleted, suspended, or deactivated.

  • Private Accounts

Users who restrict incoming messages and cannot be contacted.

  • Opt-outs or disabled messaging

Leads who have turned off messaging features or opted out of receiving messages.

Why This Matters

These automatic filters ensure that your messages are delivered only to valid, reachable leads, helping you:

  • Improve campaign performance

  • Avoid wasted message attempts

  • Maintain compliance with platform guidelines

  • Keep your workflows clean and accurate
