1. Automatic Filtering Issues
Our system runs a two-step filtering process before any messages are sent. In some cases, this can remove most or all of your prospects.
Exclusion Check
Before sending, we remove leads that are part of your excluded lists (such as the Contacted list or other custom exclusions). If your excluded lists are too broad, your audience size may drop to zero.
DM Eligibility Check
After exclusions, we check whether remaining prospects can receive DMs. Users with closed or restricted messaging are automatically filtered out.
What to do:
Review your excluded lists
Make sure you’re not excluding your entire audience
Verify that your target audience can receive DMs
2. Account Setup Problems
Your campaign may not send if your account setup is incomplete or incorrect. Make sure you’ve completed the following:
Your X (Twitter) account is properly connected
Your workspace setup is complete
Your timezone is set correctly
Outreach settings and sending limits are configured
Incomplete setup can prevent campaigns from starting or scheduling messages correctly.
3. Daily Sending Limits Reached
Each plan has a daily DM limit. Once you reach this limit, your campaign will pause sending until the next day.
Daily DM limits by plan:
Pro: Up to 500 DMs per day
What to do:
Check your daily usage
Wait for the limit to reset
Upgrade your plan if you consistently hit limits
4. Contacts Automatically Filtered
Your leads may be removed automatically if they fall into any of these categories:
Inactive or suspended accounts
Private accounts that restrict messages
Users who have disabled or opted out of messaging
This filtering happens automatically and helps protect your account and improve delivery rates.
How to Fix the Issue
If your campaign isn’t sending, try the following:
Double-check your excluded lists
Confirm your population size after filtering
Verify your account and workspace setup
Check your daily DM limits
Import fresh, high-quality leads
If you’ve reviewed all of the above and your campaign still isn’t sending, feel free to contact our support team for further assistance.
