Want to make your DMs feel more personal? Here’s how you can use custom variables in Inbox to add a personal touch to your campaigns:
Head to Campaigns
Navigate to the Campaigns section and start by creating a new campaign.
Name Your Campaign
Give your new campaign a name that helps you remember its purpose.
Select Your List
Choose the recipient list that you want to send this campaign to, and then click Continue.
Compose Your Message
Now, write out the DM you want to send. When you want to insert a personal touch, click the Custom Variable button (it might look like an asterisk).
Insert the First Name Variable
Select the First Name variable to automatically pull in each recipient’s first name. This way, each DM will greet the recipient by name.
