Problem

Fix

CSV missing required columns (username or id/user_ID)

Open your CSV in Excel or Google Sheets and ensure the necessary columns are present. Make sure usernames include @ or use numeric IDs.

CSV file too large or messy

Import in smaller batches using filters instead of the whole file at once.

Follower import returns fewer leads than expected

Check your plan limits: Pro = 50k, Custom = unlimited.

System filters reduce imported leads (inactive, deleted, suspended accounts, private accounts, users with DMs off)

This is normal! If too many leads are filtered, try importing from different sources or use prospecting tools for fresh audiences.

Previously contacted leads get removed

Double-check your excluded lists. This filtering prevents duplicate outreach.

Imports seem slow or not appearing

Don’t worry—imports run in the background. Close the page safely and check your lead list after a few minutes.

Too many leads filtered overall

Make sure your original audience is large enough to account for filtering, or break your import into smaller, targeted batches.
